Subject: Seuraava CSC:n bioperuskurssi pidetään 13.-14.5.


Seuraava biolaskennan peruskurssi pidetään CSC:llä 13.-14.5.
Kaksipäiväisellä kurssilla käydään läpi CSC:n palvelimilla olevien
sekvenssianalytiikkapalveluiden käytön perusteet. Käsiteltäviä aiheita
ovat mm.
	- SRS-palvelin ja sekvenssitietokannat
	- EMBOSS-ohjelmiston käyttö WWW- ja unix-ympäristöissä
	- BLAST-haut Gepardi-palvelimella
	- monen sekvenssin rinnastus ClustalW-ohjelmalla
	- Phylip-fylogenetiikkaohjelmisto

The next biocomputing basic course will be held on May 13th-14th. The
course gives an introduction to the sequence analysis services of CSC. The
