Graduate School of Population Genetics will organize a Course in
Comparative genomics

Time: October 7-9, 2008 (starting about 10 am on Tuesday, ending about
3pm on Thursday)

Place: Oulu, a conference centre of Pohto in the city (Hietasaari)

Teachers: Ari Löytynoja, Tim Massingham, Martin Taylor from EBI
(European Bioinformatics Institute) The website of the Goldman group

Program: Comparative genomics: from the database to sequence analyses
and phylogenies, using the Drosophila genome as an example. Includes
lectures, demonstrations and computer work

Applications: send to  pekka.pamilo (at) helsinki.fi  as soon as
possible. The computer sessions may restrict the number of participants.
