2006 Midnight Sun Summer Keiko

Umeå, June 16-18

Umeå Kendoklubb welcome kendo practionners of all levels (from beginners and
upwards) to participate in the second Midnight Sun Summer Keiko. Practice
will take
place at Dragonskolan (map and further details will be sent out at a later
date) that
amongst other things offer two full size practice halls.

Instructors:
This year’s instructors are from Finland:
• Mikko Salonen (6 dan)
• Marcus Frey (6 dan)
• Susanna Porevuo (5 dan)
• Kari Jääskeläinen (5 dan)

What to expect:
The camp will offer kendo practice from ”all” aspects of kendo. Participants
will be
grouped differently for different sessions. Bring your bokken (if you have).
There will
be a sayonara party on Saturday – payment for that will be accepted at the
restaurant.
Good breakfast buffets and good lunches will be offered right by the
sleeping/practice
area at a reasonable price.

Preliminary schedule:
Friday kl 19-21
Saturday kl 10-13 kl 15-18
Sunday kl 11-14

Fees:
Camp fee: SEK 500
Sleeping in the dojo: SEK 100 (SEK 50 per night)

Application and payment
Deadline: By email on Monday the 5th of June.
We appreciate if clubs apply and pay once per club.
