Hello!
On the way back from a Golden Eagle meeting in Rovaniemi yesterday (10 =
oct.), we observed 700 individuals of whooper swan in an area from =
Siikavuopio and 15-20 km north. The flocks was 250, 350, 50 & 50 ind. It =
could have been more birds in the areal, since we could not see the =
river all the time from the road. When we travelled from Troms=F8 on =
Friday there was no swan in the area.=20
