Vappuna on tarkoitus tehdä kansainvälinen laskenta lyhytnokkahanhista.
Ilmoittelepa minulle, jos
olet kiinnostunut jutusta, niin koordinoidaan hieman reittejä.

Laskenta-apua pyysi Jesper Madsen, joka oli hoksinut havaintoni V40:stä
www.geese.org:ista.

Dear Tapani Tapio.

I am the coordinator of the neckbanding program for the pink-footed geese.
I noticed that you have observed the bird with the white neckband V40
around Oulu on 9 April. This is really interesting to us.

We are planning a coordinated international count of the population of
pink-footed geese on the 1st of May. Would it be possible for you to make a
count in the Oulu area, to see if there are still birds? It does not
necessarily have to be on the 1st of May. It is fine with a count in the
days before or after.
