Esim ikkunaan tai autoon törmätessään kuolleita, tuoreita ja ehjiä lintuja tarvittaisiin biologian opetukseen, Eläinmuseon kautta nämä siis menevät (laita viestiä Juhani.Hopkins at oulu.fi). Itsestään kuolleet taas pitäisi toimittaa Ruokavirastolle tutkittaviksi tautien varalta.

Hi,

We are short of dead birds for teaching morphology with, so if you happen to find any when outside, could you collect them for us please? What we need are intact animals that the students can dissect. If you find any, you can bring them to me (room b218) or if I’m not around, label them, place them in a bag in the teaching freezer and send me an email, or take them to the animal museum at the botanical gardens.
