Leppälinnun pesintä epäonnistui, mutta niistäkin tulee varma pesintä eli
indeksi vähintään 7.<br>

Lainaus Jarkko Rutilan ja Juha Haikolan tuoreesta Käki-kirkasta:
"Loismuninnan on tapahduttava juuri oikealla hetkellä. Ajoitu on tärkeä
siksi, että liian aikaisin isännän pesintäkierron aikana munitut munat joutuvat
helposti hylätyksi. Jos käenmuna ilmestyy pesään, jossa ei ole yhtään isännän
omaa munaa, se viskataan useimmiten armotta pihalla tai haudataan
pesämateriaalin sekaan."<br>

Rutilan mukaan käki vierailee pesällä ennen munintaa ja saattaa jopa tuhota
liian pitkälle edenneen pesinnän, että voisi itse myöhemmin munia
uusintapesyeeseen.<br>
<br>
Loppupäätelmät: käelle pesimävarmuusindeksi 73 (havaittu juuri lentokykyiset
poikaset tai untuvikot, jotka voidaan katsoa syntyneiksi ruudun alueella).
Mutta mikä indeksi käelle? Munapesä on siis varmasti ollut olemassa, mutta
siitä ei ole suoria todisteita. Paljoa ei varmaan tehdä vääryyttä, jos valitaan
indeksi 74: havaittu emo kantamassa ruokaa poikasille tai poikasten ulosteita.<br>

Törmäsin aamusella Iin Aaltokankaalla<br>
käkeä ruokkivaan leppälintuun. Aikomukseni<br>
on kirjata havainto Atlakseen, mutta rupesin<br>
jahkaamaan laitanko peismäindeksit käelle,<br>
vai leppälinnulle. Kummallakin on onnistunut<br>
pesintä. Miten tämä asia tulisi korrektisti hoitaa,<br>
että pesimäindeksit tulisivat oikealle lajille?<br>
