<p class="MsoNormal">Kaikkien aikojen aikaisin keväthavainto sinipyrstöstä läntisellä palearktisella alueella tehtiin 3 päivää sitten (26.3.2012) Irlannin etelärannikolla Corkin maakunnan Galley Headissa:

<p class="MsoNormal">Suomen aikaisimmat havainnot ovat huhtikuun puolivälistä päivämäärältä 15.4. Tuona päivänä vuonna 2001 rengastettiin sinipyrstö Signilskärin lintuasemalla ja 2005 laji havaittiin Espoon Laajalahdella. Signilskärin lintu nähtiin mahdollisesti
jo 13.4. mutta se jäi silloin lopullisesti määrittämättä.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Oma Kaakkois-Aasian ilmanaloihin perustuva kristallipalloni kertoo, että ensi kesä tulee Suomessa olemaan kaikkien aikojen sinipyrstökesä. Niinpä keväästäkin on luultavasti tulossa hyvä. Irlannin ennätysaikainen lintu on ihan hyvä ennusmerkki
myös. Suomen ekaa kevätlintua voisi odotella ilmaantuvaksi jo vajaan parin viikon kuluttua. Eikä kevään ekaa Tarsigeria välttämättä tarvitse hakea etelärannikolta tai Ahvenanmaan lintuasemilta. Viime kevään ainoa huhtikuinen havainto tehtiin täysin talvisessa
ympäristössä Kilpisjärvellä, jossa naaraspukuinen sinipyrstö valokuvattiin 21.4. ikkunan läpi lintulaudan antimista nauttimassa. Sinällään huhtikuun lopun Kilpisjärvi ei aivan mahdottomalta paikalta tunnu, koska huomattavasti keväisempään ympäristöön Norjan
rannikolle on havaintopaikalta matkaa alle 50 km. Sinipyrstö on aika karaistunut lintu, joka ei välttämättä pikkupakkasesta ja lumihangesta ole moksiskaan. Esim. Japanissa niitä on talvisin hyvinkin lumisissa olosuhteissa.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Alkakaapas siis pikkuhiljaa kaivelemaan sinipyrtöatrappeja esiin talviteloilta!<o:p></o:p></p>
