Lintu oli sen verran kaukana, etten saanut siitä kuvaa, mutta sain katsella sitä pitkään 40 kertaa suurentavalla kaukoputkella kauniissa myötävalossa. On varmaa, että kaularengas oli punainen ja siinä oli horinsontaalisesti kirjain P. Vertikaalisesti ollutta kahta numeroa tuijotin pitään. Jokaisella kerralla, kun ne näkyivät kunnolla, päädyin siihen, että ne olivat 16.
