[SOOPA] Pyöräilyretki Hailuotoon 07./08.09. - Bike trip to Hailuoto 07./08.09.

lähdemme siis tänä viikonloppuna (07./08.09.) pyöräilemään
Hailuotoon. Hailuotoon pääsee lautalla (lähtee Oulunsalosta), siihen
lauttapaikalle on matka noin 30 km yliopistosta (https://maps.google.fi/maps?saddr=Oulun+yliopisto,+Pentti+Kaiteran+katu+1,+Oulu&daddr=Hailuodontie%2FReitti+816&hl=fi&sll=65.001047,25.10838&sspn=0.252743,1.014175&geocode=FfW44AMdHpaEASGh66EIaz-W6CmzrwXuDy2ARjGh66EIaz-W6A%3BFQ_v3wMdJoeAAQ&dirflg=b&mra=dme&mrsp=1&sz=11&t=m&z=11&lci=bike).

Lähdemme klo. 11 yliopistolta (2T-ovelta) sitten ehdimme
hyvin lautalle (lähtee esim. 13:30, 14:00, 14:30) ja saavumme joskus 14-15
maissa Hailuotoon. Sitten jää vielä koko iltapäivä tutustua saareen; saaressa
on useita lintutorneja, kävelypolkuja, luontokeskus sekä hyviä uimarantoja. Sää
taitaa olla aika hyvä viikonloppuna (ainakin sääennusteiden mukaan). Illanvietoksi
voimme paistaa makkaraa ja lettuja nuotiolla, kertoa tarinoita jne.

Hailuodosta löytyy 4 autiotupaa sekä muita taukopaikkoja,
jotka voisivat olla mahdollisia yöpymispaikkoja. Autiotuvat eivät vaikuta
nettikuvien perusteella valtavan isolta, voisimme ottaa varmuuden vuoksi
telttojakin mukaan.

Jos haluat lähteä mukaan reissulle, ilmoita minulle
viimeistään perjantaina. Oletan, että mennään pyörällä. Jos joku haluaa autolla
mennä, hänen pitäisi itse huolehtia miten pääsee sinne ja takaisin.

so we are
biking to Hailuoto this weekend (07./08.09.). There is a ferry going to
Hailuoto from Oulunsalo, the trip to the ferry is about 30 km from the

The ferry runs rather regularly (schedules can be found here: http://www.finferries.fi/aikataulu.php?id=41).

We leave at
11 from the university (2T-door), go over by ferry (e.g. at 13:30, 14:00,
14:30) and arrive at about 14-15 on the island. Then we have plenty of time to
check out the island; there are several bird watching towers, walking trails, a
nature information center as well as nice beaches. The weather should be quite
nice, at least according to weather forecast. In the evening we can grill
sausages and pancakes at a fireplace.

There are 4
open huts on Hailuoto as well as several fireplaces. The huts are probably not
very big, so we might take some tents as well just to be sure.

If you want
to join us for the trip, please sign up until Friday at latest. I assume, that
we are going by bike. If somebody wants to go by car, he/she has to check how
to get to Hailuoto and back.
