*Mitä!*
Lähetään Myllykarhulle 18.-19.3.2016.

*Missä?*
Myllykarhu sijaisee Kiimingissä, noin 30 kilometrin päässä Oulusta.
Myllykarhun leirikeskus kuuluu lippukunnalle nimeltään Oulun Metsänkävijät.

Läheltä (0.6km korpeen) löytyy leirikeskuksen lisäksi Koppelo-niminen
pikkukämppä. Autiotupamaisessa kämpässä on nukkumatilaa noin kuudelle.

Paikan osoite on Partiolaistentie viisitsiljoonaa (tien päässä).

*Lähtö:*
Lähtö tapahtuu yliopiston parkkikselta (Yliopistonkadun puoliselta, lähellä
T2:sta) lauantaina 18.3. kello 11.30.

Kuljetus järjestetään lähtiöiden omilla autoilla. Toivottavasti kaikille ja
kaikelle on tilaa. Olisi kiva, jos sinulla on auto saatavilla ja voisit
kyydittää porukkaa, sillä autoja on tuskin hirveästi liikaa. Bensakulut saa
Soopalta.

Jos kaikille ilmottautuneille ei ole tilaa, pitää harkita edestakaisin
ajamasta tai/sekä julkisen liikenteen käyttämistä. Autopaikat menee
lähtökohtaisesti ensimmäisenä Doodleen ilmoittautuneille. Infoa kyytien
järjestäytymisestä myöhemmin.

*Kotiinpaluu:*
Lähdetään sunnuntaina siihen aikaan, mikä tuntuu sydämmissämme oikealta.
Eli päätetään silloin, milloin.

*Mitä retkellä voi tehdä?*
Vain oma mielikuvituksesi on rajana: hiihdä, tee lumiukko, kiipeä puuhun,
tipu puusta, pelaa lautapelejä parhaassa seurassa ja niin edelleen.
Toiminta on vapaata.

Retki on alkoholiton.

*Nukkuminen:*
Nukkua voi joko päärakennuksessa, laavulla, Koppelossa, lumihangessa, puun
oksalla tai teltassa. Jos meinaat nukkua (paleltua) teltassa, hommaa teltta
(mahdollista vuokrata Soopalta).

*Syöminen:*
Tuo omat ruokasi. Päärakennuksesta löytyy keittiö
(vesijohtovesihanalavuaari, jääkaappi, mikro, jotain astioita, kaasuhella
ja uuni)

*Mukaan:*
- Tavarankuljetusväline, esim. rinkka
- Makuupussi
- Makuualusta
- Kunnon ulkovaatteet
- Pyyhe ja saunomiskamppeet
- Lamppu taskuun tai otsaan
- Ruokailuvälineet
- Kaikkea muuta mitä unohdin kertoa. Ota huomioon, että autoihin mahtuu
rajallinen määrä kampetta

*What?!*

Winter trip to Myllykarhu in 18.-19.3.2016. Skiing, going to the sauna etc.


*Where:*

Myllykarhu located about 30 kms from Oulu, in Kiiminki:

- main building with two sleeping rooms (the big one and the small one),
kitchen and a room for drying clothes.
- sauna
- outdoor toilets
- laavu and a camp fire site (probably covered in snow)
- about 0.6 km away in the middle of the forest there's a small wilderness
hut (Koppelo) that can be used as well (around 6 people can sleep there)

Myllykarhu is property of local scout group of Oulun Metsänkävijät.

*Getting there:*

We will be leaving from university parking lot (the one next to T2 and
Yliopistonkatu) on Saturday 18th at 11.30am.
We will use our members cars to get there, hopefully there is room for
everyone. If you use your own car and give ride to others as well, Soopa
will pay for the fuel costs. First ones to register themselves on Doodle
are the ones to get a ride. If there is not enough cars we can make
arrangements involving public transport or/and driving back and forth. Info
about these things later.

Address of the place is Partiolaistentie, there is no house number but it's
at the end of the road.

*Leaving there:*

On Sunday at some time after cleaning the place.

*Activities you can do:*

- ski/walk in the snow to the Koppelo and, depending on the weather and the
strength of will, maybe even further.
- go to sauna
- play board games
- make snow castles
- something else

The event is alcohol free.

*Sleeping:*

There are couple of options:

- one of the rooms in the main building
- the Koppelo
- the laavu (if you like it cold)
- the tent (if you like it coldest, rent the tent from Soopa or bring your
own)

*Food:*

Bring your own food. There is a kitchen available with:
- tap water
- gas operated oven and stove
- fridge
- microwave oven

*Things you need:*

- Backpack, rucksack or something to put your stuff into. You may have to
carry it couple hundred meters, in case the road is not plowed.
- Sleeping bag (warmer is better)
- Sleeping mattress
- Good winter clothes, shoes
- Towel if you go to sauna
- Food and fork and plate and stuff.
- Flashlight/headlamp is a very bright idea
- Anything else you might think is necessary for overnight trip in the woods

Please do mind that cars tend to run out of space, so don't bring
everything you own with you.
