[SOOPA] Hiking two weeks in Iceland in August 2022

Dear SOOPA members,

Do you miss long hiking trips abroad? Do you love to discover the
unbelievable diversity of our world? Then register for Iceland 2022!
SOOPA traditionally goes on big hikes abroad every five years. Great
countries were toured, including 1995 Svalbard, 2000 Greenland, 2005 Peru,
and 2015 Bolivia. In 2020 the destination should have been Iceland.
However, our plan had to be postponed to 2022 due to the COVID pandemic.

The hike is mainly paid by money that is collected through joint activities
and the collective work of the participants. A small group of 11 SOOPA
members has already started collecting money over the past two years. Now
that the hike got postponed to August 2022, we would like to give 9
additional SOOPA members the opportunity to travel to Iceland with us. To
become part of the group we expect you to be willing to raise money for
your participation in collective work (approximately 70 hours).

If you are interested in going to Iceland with SOOPA but do not have the
time to collect the money in joint activities, there is the possibility
that you can come along as a so-called "self-payer". For that registration
starts on August 1st  provided that there are still places available.

The registration for the Iceland-hike for SOOPA members starts on May 4st.
Priority is given to participants who are willing to earn the money in
joint activities and collective work.
