Osallistujat pyritään jakamaan 4-6 henkilön ryhmiin siten, että jokaiselle löytyy sopivan vauhtinen ryhmä ja jokaisessa ryhmässä olisi riittävästi aikaisempaa vaelluskokemusta. Ryhmä vaeltaa viikon ajan keskenään ja vaelluksen päätteeksi kokoonnumme yhteen kuulemaan toistemme reissuista. Vaellus sopii niin rauhallisesta tahdista nauttivalle kuin hiki hatussa aamusta iltaan hiihtävälle. Majoittuminen vaellukselle tapahtuu pääasiassa teltoissa tai ryhmän niin päättäessä varaustuvissa. Autiotupia saa käyttää vain, jos niissä on tilaa ja tupaetikettiä tulee noudattaa. Soopa tarjoaa jokaiselle ryhmälle kartat ja teltan. Muita varusteita kuten suksia voi vuokrata soopalta. All the people joining the hike will be divided into groups of 4-6 people so that everyone can be in a group with suitable pace and each group has enough previous (winter) hiking experience. The group hikes together for a week and at the end of the hike everyone gets together and shares their experiences. Accommodation during the hike happens in tents or in reservable wilderness huts. Open wilderness huts can be used only if there is room and hut etiquette must be followed. Soopa will provide tents and maps for all groups. Other equipment such as skis can be rented from soopa.
