Rauhala-klubi ry pyytää esityksiä Vuoden Opiskelijaksi perjantaihin
22.3. klo 12.00 mennessä.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">Oulun yliopistopäivää vietetään perinteiseen tapaan J.V. Snellmanin
päivän kieppeillä, tänä vuonna 7.5. Reilun kymmenen vuoden ajan päivän
päätapahtumassa, alumnijuhlassa, on julkistettu Vuoden Alumni – Oulun
yliopistosta valmistunut henkilö, joka on merkittävällä tavalla
ansioitunut valmistumisensa jälkeen.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">Vuodesta 2011 lähtien Oulun yliopistopäivänä on julkistettu vuoden
alumnin ohella myös Vuoden Opiskelija, jonka Oulun yliopistoseura ry
nimeää Rauhala-klubi ry:n esityksestä.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">Rauhala-klubi pyytääkin järjestöiltä ja opiskelijayhteisöiltä
ehdotuksia Vuoden Opiskelijaksi valittavasta henkilöstä myös tänä
vuonna. Yksittäiset opiskelijat voivat tehdä esityksiä ja ehdotuksia
omille järjestöilleen. Vuoden opiskelija palkitaan merkittävän
suuruisella stipendillä.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">Vuoden opiskelijan valinnan kriteerinä on<br>
- opiskeluaikana osoitettu aktiivisuus opiskelijoiden hyväksi sekä<br>
- opintojen hyvä etenemistahti.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">Vuoden opiskelijan odotamme olevan innostava, yhteisöllisyyttä
edistävä ja motivaattori. Hänellä voi olla kokemusta esimerkiksi
opiskelijalähtöisen toiminnan käynnistämisestä/pyörittämisestä,
opiskelijajärjestön uudelleenherättämisestä tai muusta erityisestä
toiminnasta järjestöissä tai yliopistolla.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">Vuoden opiskelijaksi nimettävän henkilön tulee olla
perustutkinto-opiskelija. Esitettävä henkilö ei voi olla
ylioppilaskunnan hallituksen jäsen tai toimihenkilö eikä yliopiston
ylimpien päätöksentekoelinten jäsen.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">Rauhala-klubi, the alumni-club for former Student Union actives is
asking for nominations for candidates for the Student of the Year award.
The deadline is Friday 22.3.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">University of Oulu day will be held on the beginning of the May, this
year at 7.5. Every year, the Alumnus of the Year (University of Oulu)
is presented at the event, someone who has achieved great things after
graduation.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">The first award of the Student of the year was nominated In 2011.
This is named by the Oulun yliopistoseura ry on recommendation of the
Rauhala club.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">Rauhala-club is therefore asking for suggestions for Student of the
Year from student organisations. Student of the Year will be awarded of
great stipend.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">The student is expected to<br>
- have been active in making a change for the better for students and<br>
- is also required to have advanced well in their studies.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">The student must be a BA or MA level student. The person cannot be a
member of the board or other worker of the Student Union nor a person
working in a upper decision-making body of the University.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">We expect the student of the year to be inspiring, a good creator and
motivator of in the student community. He or she will have, for
example, experience in initiating student-centred activites, reawakening
a student organisation or other special service or activity in a
student organisation or at the university.</span></p>
