Suunterveyden 10 minuutin toimenpideajat muuttuvat maksuttomiksi
1.9.2013 alkaen<br>

Suunterveyden 10 minuutin toimenpideajat muuttuvat YTHS:n
asiakkaille maksuttomiksi syyskuun alusta lähtien. Muutos tehtiin
sovitun maksukertymäseurannan sekä saadun palautteen jälkeen.<br>

Suunterveyden hoitoajan pituuden määrittelee terveydenhuollon
ammattihenkilö tekemänsä hoidon tarpeen arvion jälkeen. YTHS:ssä on
käytössä THL:n suun terveydenhuollon toimenpideluokitus, joka
määrittelee käynnin pituudet toimenpiteen vaativuuden mukaan.
Kymmenen minuutin käynti soveltuu lyhyisiin kontrollikäynteihin
kuten tikkien poistoon.<br>

from 1 Sep. 2013<br>

Ten-minute oral health procedure appointments will be free of charge
for FSHS clients from the start of September. The change is based on
a previously agreed follow-up of cumulative fees charged and on
feedback received.<br>
<br>
A healthcare professional will determine the necessary duration of
the oral health appointment after assessing the patient's need for
treatment. The FSHS uses an oral health procedure classification
compiled by THL (the National Institute for Welfare and Health), in
which appointment durations are determined on the basis of how
challenging a procedure is to be performed. Ten-minute appointments
are suitable for short check-ups such as the removal of sutures.<br>
