Maratoni alkaa heti pahimman Wappudarran poistuttua kehosta, eli torstaina 2.5. klo 15:00, ja ohjelmaa riittää yhtäjaksoisesti sunnuntai-iltaan asti. Pelaajailmoittautuminen on jo sulkeutunut, mutta jokaisella on mahdollisuus osallistua – nimittäin seuraamalla suoraa lähetystä, joka on käynnissä koko Vauhtijuoksun ajan.
