Ympäristörakentajakilta ry on vuosikokouksessaan 31.3.2021 valinnut itselleen uuden lyhenteen. Lyhenteen vaihdon taustalla on viime vuosina killan jäsenistössä tapahtunut rakentavanlaatuinen siirtymä, minkä vuoksi puhekielessä käytetyn lyhenteen vaihtaminen
neutraalimmaksi ja killan nykyilmettä paremmin kuvaavaksi on paikallaan. Vuosikokouksessa toteutetussa äänestyksessä Oulun Yliopiston Ympäristörakentajakillan uudeksi lyhenteeksi valikoitui OYY.</span>

että vanhaa yleiseen käyttöön vakiintunutta termiä “ymppi” käytettäisiin tulevaisuudessa vain viitattaessa ympäristötekniikan koulutusohjelmaan, ja killasta puhuttaessa käytettäisiin uutta jäsenistön valitsemaa termiä “OYY”. Arvostaisimme tätä suuresti!</span><br>
