<div dir="auto"><div dir="ltr">Edustajistovaalit tulevat taas tänä syksynä 28.10.-3.11.!<br><br>Ennen vaaleja on kumminkin kerättävä ehdokkaita. Teekkareilla ja Kyltereillä on yhteinen oma ryhmä edustajistossa nimeltään Tekniikka ja Talous eli TeTa. TeTa etsii riveihinsä mahdollisimman laajaa ehdokaskattausta eri tekniikan alojen joukosta. Mukaan pääsee täyttämällä ehdokasilmoituksen (<a href="https://www.oyy.fi/oyy/asiakirjat/#186-wpfd-2021-1631522205" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer">https://www.oyy.fi/oyy/asiakirjat/#186-wpfd-2021-1631522205</a>) ja toimittamalla se allekirjoittaneelle tai esimerkiksi kiltasi puheenjohtajalle. Ehdokasilmoituksen löydät myös tämän viestin liitteenä, kiltahuoneeltasi ja OYYn toimistolta. Jätä osio vaaliliitosta ja -renkaasta tyhjäksi. Jotta ehdit mukaan TeTan riveissä, on ehdokasilmoitukset toimitettava viimeistään 10.10.<br><br>Hetkinen, niin missä tässä on nyt kyse? Edustajisto on OYY:n eli Oulun yliopiston ylioppilaskunnan ylin päättävä elin. Kuulostaa pelottavalta, mutta sitä se ei ole. Edustajisto on ikään kuin yhdistyksen kokous. Siellä päätetään, paljonko jäseniltä peritään jäsenyysmaksua, OYYn kohdalla lukuvuosimaksua, äänestetään hallitus toteuttamaan tehtyjä päätöksiä ja laaditaan raamit, joiden sisällä hallitus saa toimia ja kuluttaa rahaa.<br><br>Edustajistoon valitaan kahden vuoden välein 37 edustajaa ja heille varaedustajat. Varat voivat tuurata varsinaisia kokouksissa ja mikäli varsinainen lähtee OYY:n hallitukseen, valmistuu tai päättää erota, nousee varaedustaja varsinaiseksi. Kokouksia on vuodessa noin 5-8 kappaletta, joten paljoa aikaa kuukaudessa asialle ei tarvitse uhrata. Edustajistossa toimiminen ei ole myöskään este muulle järjestöaktiiviudelle, vaan moni saattaa toimia samalla luottamushenkilönä killassaan tai muussa järjestössä.<br><br>TeTa on poliittisesti sitoutumaton, joten sen edustajat saavat tehdä päätöksensä äänestyksissä itse. Kokouksissa tutustuu TeTan sisällä eri alan Teekkareihin kuin myös kauppatieteilijöihin. Edustajisto koostuu monen eri alan opiskelijoista, joihin myös tutustuu kauden aikana - varsinkin usein järjestettävillä kokousten jälkeisillä edarikaljoilla. Näiden lisäksi OYY on järjestänyt edaattoreille kokoustarjoilut kokouksiin, Wesibussi-ajeluja ja simailuja, liput ja etkot avajaisjuhlaan ja pikkujouluja. TeTa toteuttanee lisäksi oman kiitosillan ehdolle lähteville vaalien jälkeen pikkujouluisassa hengessä.<br><br>Mikäli ehdolle lähtö kiinnostaa yhtään, kannattaa ehdokasilmoitus täyttää ja lähteä koittamaan. Vaikka äänet eivät riittäisi tullakseen valituksi, se ei haittaa. Kaikki TeTan keräämät äänet auttavat meitä asettamaan useamman ehdokkaan edustamaan meitä päätöksen teossa. Technology and business students have their own group in the student council called TeTa. TeTa is looking for the widest possible range of candidates in its ranks among various fields of technology and architecture. You can get involved by filling in the candidate form and submitting it to the chairperson of OTY (contact info below) or, for example, your guild chairperson. Leave the section on the form of electoral alliance and circle blank. The Student Council is the highest decision-making body of OYY, the Student Union of the University of Oulu. Sounds scary, but that's not it. The Student Council is like the annual meeting of an association. There, it is decided how much the membership fee is charged to members, in the case of OYY, the tuition fee, a board is chosen, and a framework is drawn up within which the Board can act and spend money.</p><p dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.38;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt"> </p><p dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.38;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt"> Every two years, 37 members and their vice members are elected to the Student Council. The vices can attend the meetings if an actual member can't make it, and if the actual member becomes a member of the Board of OYY, graduates or decides to resign, the vice member will become an actual member. There are about 5-8 meetings a year, so you don't have to sacrifice a lot of time a month. Also, serving on a student council is not an obstacle to other organizational activity. Instead many may at the same time act as trustees or board members in their guild or other organization.</p><p dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.38;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt"> </p><p dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.38;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt">In TeTa its members are allowed to make their own voting decisions. In TeTa one will get to know both new Teekkaris as well as new business students. The Student Council consists of students from many different fields, who you get to know during the term - especially with the frequent optional post-meeting afterworks which are usually held in some local pub. In addition to these, OYY has arranged conference catering for the meetings, Wesibussi rides, tickets for the opening party Hurmos and pre-Christmas parties.
