I bet I looked very puzzled last year in a Singaporean hotel when the boy in the reception asked me this question as the first thing on my arrival. And he did not look like he was kidding... What was I supposed to answer? That I did not manage to kidnap anyone on my way there from the airport? That there are people who actually do spend Valentines Day without the Significant Other?
