Tiedätkö jonkun, joka on toiminnallaan edistänyt Oulun yliopiston ylioppilaskunnan toimintaa tai tavoitteita? OYY haluaa nyt palkita näitä ahkeria toimijoita! Opiskelijajärjestöt sekä muut tahot voivat jättää esityksensä akateemisten kunniamerkkien saajista 31.1.2021 asti. Yhteisönne voi esittää useampaa merkin saajaa, mutta täytättehän jokaisesta ehdokkaasta oman lomakkeen. Merkit myönnetään osana Annos61-vuosijuhlaa, joka järjestetään etänä 27.2.2021.

OYY:n akateemisia kunniamerkkejä on yhteensä 4 eri luokkaa: kunniamerkki sekä ensimmäisen, toisen ja kolmannen luokan ansiomerkki. Ansiomerkein ylioppilaskunta on pystynyt kunnioittamaan erityyppistä opiskelijoiden eteen tehtyä työtä jo viidellä vuosikymmenellä vuodesta 1965 lähtien.



Kunniamerkki voidaan antaa kunnian- tai kiitollisuudenosoituksena ylioppilaskunnan tai sen päämäärien hyväksi tehdystä erittäin ansiokkaasta työstä. I lk:n ansiomerkki voidaan antaa tunnustuksena ylioppilaskunnan tai ylioppilaskunnan tavoitteiden hyväksi suoritetusta ansiokkaasta työstä ylioppilaskunnan nykyiselle tai entiselle jäsenelle tai ylioppilaskuntaa lähellä olevalle henkilölle. II lk:n ansiomerkki voidaan antaa tunnustuksena ylioppilaskunnan toimintaan ansiokkaalla tavalla osallistuneelle henkilölle. Merkki voidaan myöntää myös ylioppilaskunnan piirissä toimivan järjestön hyväksi suoritetusta ansiokkaasta työstä. III lk:n ansiomerkki voidaan antaa ylioppilaskunnan jäsenelle tai entiselle jäsenelle, joka on osoittanut aktiivisuutta ylioppilaskunnan tai ylioppilaskunnan piirissä toimivan järjestön toiminnassa.


OYY:n hallitus jakaa kunniamerkit ylioppilaskunnan juhlasäännön perusteella kunniatyöryhmän esityksestä. Päätöksessä ei huomioida esitettävien vuoden 2021 aikana alkaneita luottamustoimia. Tietyt luottamustoimet, kuten toiminta OYY:ssä ja/tai järjestön puheenjohtajuus, saavat usein muita ansioita enemmän arvoa päätöksessä.

Do you know someone who has promoted the work and goals of the Student Union of the University of Oulu by their actions? Now OYY wants to reward these hard-working individuals! The student societies and other organisations can provide their nominations for receivers of the OYY honorary academic decorations until 31 January 2021. Your community may nominate more than one recipient, but please complete a separate form for each candidate. The badges will be awarded as part of the Annos61 anniversary celebration, which will be held remotely on February 27, 2021.

There are four classes of OYY’s honorary academic decorations: a badge of honour, and the first, second and third class medals. By presenting decorations the Student Union has been able to honour different types of work that has been done for students already for five decades since 1965.

The badge of honor can be given as an recognition of honor or gratitude for the very meritorious work done for the benefit of the student union or its goals. The 1st class medal may be awarded in recognition of meritorious work performed for the purposes of the student union. The recipient can be a member or a former member of the student union or a close person to the student union. The 2nd class medal may be awarded in recognition of a person who has in meritorious manner participated in the student union's work. The medal can also be awarded for meritorious work done for the good of an organization operating within the student union. The 3rd class medal may be awarded to a member or a former member of the student union who has shown activity in the work of the student union or in an organization operating within the student union.

The Board of OYY awards the decorations based on its Rules for Honorary Decorations by the proposal of the Honorary Committee. The decision-making will not account for the positions of trust of the nominated candidates which have begun in 2021. Some positions of trust, such as activity in OYY or chairmanship, receive more attention than other merits in the decision-making process.
