From Monday, 21 May 2012 customers can place requests for items that are not on loan. You can order for example books from the Kajaani University Consortium Library or from the closed stacks of the Pegasus Library. Please check the availability of the item(s) and log in to your account in the online library catalogue OULA.
If the item you have requested is available for home loan you’ll receive a notification by e-mail when it is available for pickup. You can collect the item from the library you selected as the pickup location when placing the request. You’ll also be notified if the item cannot be delivered for some reason.
If the item you have requested is only available for reading room loan you’ll receive either a pickup notification or notification of non-availability. You can pick up items for reading room loan from the Pegasus Library ground floor service desk within three days of placing the request. Items requested from the closed stacks Mon-Fri 8.00-14.00 can be picked up from the service desk no later than 2 hours after placing the request. Requests placed after 14.00 are available for pickup from the service desk no later than 10.00 the following morning (not on Saturdays).
You can also place item requests for journal issues, if the issue is listed in the pull-down menu. If the issue in not on the list or you want to order whole volumes of journals, you can place your order with a paper form in the library or by contacting the customer service. It is not possible to place item requests for reference copies of journal issues or volumes.
