Olen valittu KYK:stä ja MITY:stä rehtorin asettamaan tasa-arvo- ja yhdenvertaisuustoimikuntaan (TAYV-toimikunta), joka nimetään kolmivuotiskaudeksi kerrallaan. Toimikuntien työskentely on osa laajaa ja moninaista yliopiston tasa-arvotyötä. Tasa-arvoa on esimerkiksi se, että esimerkiksi pyörätuolilla pääsisi kulkemaan yhtä helposti kuin jalkaisin. Tasa-arvoa tässä viestissä on taas esimerkiksi se, että tämä tieto tulee kaikille samalla tapaa ja vähintään kahdella kielellä.

I have been chosen for the Equality and Diversity Committee from KYK and MITY. The committee is appointed by the Rector for a three-year term. The work of the committees is part of the university's extensive and diverse equality work. Equality is the possibility of being able to move with a wheelchair as easily as on foot.
