Welcome to Scientific Seminar on Organic Food in Mikkeli, Finland, 5-7 November 2014!
Scientific Seminar on Organic Food 2014 – open, critical and collaborative approaches takes place 5-7 November, 2014 in Mikkeli, Finland,
http://luomuinstituutti.fi/en/organic-food-2014/. The seminar is aimed at researchers and other experts of the whole food chain as well as politicians and officers of the governmental bodies on
food and farming for collaboration and sharing their expertise with others. Invited speakers of the seminar are outstanding researchers from Finland, other European countries and Canada.
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS BY 15th OCTOBER
All the participants are called to submit their abstracts for Scientific Seminar on Organic Food 2014 by 15th October. Accepted abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts on the seminar. Participants
will have opportunity to present their abstracts as a poster in poster exhibition (Thu 6th November, 15.30-16.30) and/or orally in workshops (Fri 7th November, 9-10.30).
Abstracts are called under the themes of the seminar:
• Current trends of organic food research
• Quality and origin of organic food
• Health reputation of organic food
• Organic food and society

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION BEFORE 15th OCTOBER
Please note the important dates regarding registration. Early bird seminar fees apply for those registering before 15th October.
Deadline for registrations is October the 25th. For students there are discount fees applied.
