use of developing machine next week

Hi! If you use developing machine next week, please take care by yourself that the machine is turned off after use. I will be on holiday next week. If you use the machine in the afternoons or evenings, leave a note that machine is not turned many times on and off in one day. Stratagene MX3005 Real-time PCR at Kieppi building

Dear Colleagues, Attached please find the flyer about the RT-PCR basic user training. This will take place 18.12. starting from 10.00 to 11.30 (Instrument and running an assay) second part will be from 13.00 to 14.30 (Data analysis). I hope to see many RT-PCR users attending. More advanced training will take place later some time next year once we have a bit of experience with the machine. Stratagene MX3005 Real-time PCR at Kieppi building

Dear colleagues, We will get a new real-time PCR machine at Kieppi-building. Stratagene's MX3005p system (http://www.stratagene.com/products/showProduct.aspx?pid=695) will be located in the 4th floor in the laboratory 441B (Jussi Vuoristo's laboratory, DNA microarray facility). The machine will be installed on 18.12. and there will be a demonstrations about the general use of the system in the afternoon (the exact time and type of demonstration will be announced later by the Stratagene representative, but just to let you know a bit in advance). Confocal microscope demonstration

Hi! Vesa Ylöstalo from Leica company will bring here a confocal microscope on Monday, the 11th of December 2006. It will be installed in the room 421A at the 4th floor of Biocenter laboratories. Vesa will give a lecture on Tuesday, December 12th 2006 at 10 o'clock a.m. in the meeting room 487B, 4th floor near Biocenter Oulu offices and give thereafter a demonstration on the use of the confocal microscope. The equipment will stay here until Friday, the 15th of December, 2006. Please feel free to test the equipment during this period.
