Ablation of Biological Tissues, Intracellular nanosurgery. Conditions of use. Experimental results. *Time resolve spectroscopy, lifetime measurements, Experimental realization of optical time measurements (steady-state, Time-Correlated Single Photon Counting (TCSPC), etc. *Lifetime imaging, Lifetime Imaging Techniques for Optical Microscopy, (fluorescence lifetime imaging-FLIM), Multi Photon Imaging, Multi Wavelength (TCSPC) Imaging. *Laser-assisted optoporation of single cells, transfection. Laser-Assisted Optoporation for Drug and Gene Delivery. Laser embryology. Combined use of short pulse lasers - multiphoton imaging and cell surgery, single cell registration by (femtosecond) Optical tweezers and 2p excitation. Other contemporary applications.

Chillers blowing just cold air

Dear BCO-Kieppi people, Let me know the room numbers for the rooms the chiller is not responding to the temperature control but blowing just cold air. With the chiller I mean the square white boxes in the ceiling with controller unit including fan control, on/off and temperature control with numbers. Send the info by next Friday 19th. Hei kaikki Kontinkankaan kampuksella on vain yksi välinehuoltaja perjantaina 12.9. Biokemian pää toimii yhden välinehuoltajan voimin. Kiepissä autoklaavaus sujuu, mutta tiskausta ei ole. Mikäli teillä on kiireellistä tiskattavaa niin olkaa yhteydessä minuun. terveisin virpi Dear all There is only one person taking care of the dishes and autoclaving tomorrow, on Friday 12th , on the Kontinkangas campus. The person in charge works in Biochemistry site. In Kieppi autoclaving will be organized if needed, but there is no dish washing service. If you have any urgent dishes to be washed, be in contact with me. More construction work around Aapistie 7, starting Sept.8. Laitosrakennus 1 (Aapiste 7) itäpäädyssä oleva asuin- ja autotalliosan purkutyöt käynnistetään 8.9.2014. Samassa yhteydessä toteutetaan purkualueen ja siihen liittyen piha-alueen muutostyöt. Laitosrakennuksen 1 viereen rakennetaan betonikivialue, johon rakennetaan pyöräkatos ja 24 uutta autopaikkaa. Uudet ajoalueet pinnoitetaan asfaltilla ja osa vanhasta asfaltista uusitaan. Autopaikkojen keskelle istutetaan uusi nurmialue. Töiden on määrä valmistua 7.11.2014. Asfaltointi suoritetaan 5/2015, mikäli sää ei mahdollista asfaltointia syksyllä. Katoksen sinkityt teräsosat tullaan maalaamaan 5/2015. Parkkipaikat tulevat vähenemään väliaikaisesti rakennustöiden vuoksi. Rakennustyömaa-alue ja sen myötä poistuvat autopaikat tullaan aitaamaan ennen rakennustöiden aloittamista. Liitteenä asemapiirustus, josta ilmenee uusi piha-alue. Urakoitsijana toimii VRJ Pohjois-Suomi Oy. Projektinjohto Rakennuttajatoimisto Promen Oy. Pahoittelemme työstä aiheutuvaa häiriötä.
