The topic of the minisymposium is "Recent highlights of protein and metabolite research" and we will have a very interesting program for Friday afternoon with speakers both from Kuopio and Oulu. See the Program attached. The Kuopio visit is a great networking possibility: you get to know the Biocenter Kuopio people, and during the bus trips you may learn to know better your BCO colleagues also! You will find here the link to the registration. Deadline is October 30. https://www.webropolsurveys.com/S/46CAD7896858FF07.par The Biocenter Bus leaves from Aapistie 5A to Kuopio on Friday at 8 am, and starts back on Saturday morning at 10 am, reaching Oulu around 2 pm. Today Dear Kieppi-people, Italian television will be filming in the 4th floor on Wednesday 14th around 10-11. Of course we want to give an active and also beautiful and modern picture about our center. Therefore, please, try to be working in the labs or offices during that time. Open the window blinds (also 3rd floor) when possible, especially those facing the inner part of the building. Thank you! If you have questions, feel free to ask. Although I do not know much, this is quite a sudden happening.
