Training for the use of fire-fighting equipment FW: Alkusammutuskoulutusta 18-20.5.2015

Dear BCO-Kieppi people, In the Medical Campus we will have training for the use of fire-fighting equipment: fire blankets and fire extinguishers. There are 3 days (May 18.-20.) with several time slots available. In case you have not yet been trained for this, or feel that you need more training, please attend this very useful 45 minute session. I collect the participants (and time which session) for the BCO-Kieppi, so please, send me an email soon. See the training site Aapistie 7E in the map attached. The main view lists only few files but if you then scroll down the file list, there's an arrow at the bottom where you can change the page. You can find both English and Finnish versions. Participation to this about 30 min walk is obligatory for everybody. This is organized for your own safety. There are four possibilities to participate: April 28, April 29 (English), May 7 and May 8 (English), all starting at 13.00. Starting point for the tours is top of the main staircase 4th floor. Victor at Microbiology is working again

Dear All Victor3 at the Microbiology went for maintenance in Turku and is back at work once again. :) Because of the shipping and adjustments needed after every transfer of the dispenser unit, the unit is not installed at the moment. Please inform me if you will need the dispenser unit for your research. The unit can be installed back if needed. We have plans not to install the dispenser unit anymore. The dispenser unit has not been used regularly, only couple of times during the last five years. The installed unit is known to cause some error messages occasionally and block the usage of Victor itself. If the dispenser unit will be installed again it will be made during the next Perkin Elmer service engineer visit to Oulu. BR virpi
