Office and lab doors

Hi all, I've noticed that some of the office and lab doors can be a bit tricky to get locked properly due to a misalignment in door frame for example. I'm compiling a list of these so if you have noticed a door that does not lock easily, please let me know so I can inform ISS. Also if you notice loose door handles etc. which is a common as the screws holding the lock and the handle together seem to detach from time to time. Thanks! Data transfer from BCO Kieppi instruments/devices

Hi all, As many of you have noticed already, there's now a system to transfer files via a network drive from most of the BCO Kieppi instruments/devices to your own computer. If you need access or further help, please inform me. The BCO-NAS network drive is not meant for permanent storage. It's only meant for transferring the files so please move your files from the system to your own computer/network drive. When saving the files originally (i.e. taking images in a microscope), use the local hard drive for saving (just like before) and only after you're done, copy the files to the network drive. 3rd floor isotope lab is closed now

Dear all, FYI. The isotope lab in the 3rd floor (325A-326A) does not have the permit for radioactive work anymore, so do not plan to use it for that purpose. Please, contact FBMM if you have to use radioactive isotopes. Hei, Te Kiepin tekniset, jotka kuulutte FBMM työntekijöihin, menkää tähän koulutukseen, vaikka olettekin jo Kiepin tiloissa näitä arvioita jo kiitettävästi tehneetkin. Mutta hyvä saada kuulla yksinkertaistetusta mallista, eli minkälainen arvio riittää. Olen pyytänyt Sirpaa pitämään tämän saman myös meillä Kiepissä. Terv. Pyydämme mukaan myös Virpi Glumoffin, jos vain ehdit ja pääset. Sakari Kellokumpu on työnantajan puolelta mukana tässä. Todellisuudessa asia koskee koko henkilöstöä, mutta nyt aluksi ohjeistetaan teknistä henkilökuntaa tähän. Työsuojelutoimikunnan kokouksissa asia on ollut toistuvasti esillä, työterveyshuolto haluaa näitä tietoja, joten meidän pitäisi alkaa työstää tätä nyt yhdessä. Työmenetelmiä on ainakin melko laajasti jo listattu, mutta niiden pohjalta tehtävä henkilökohtainen riskinarvio on sitten kesken. Tiedän, että muutamat ovat tämän tehneet jo:), mutta suurin(?) osa ei, en ole varma Linnanmaalta tulleiden osalta. Asia on siis eri, kuin ASA-aineluettelo. Kutsun siis koko teknisen henkilöstön kokoukseen ke 23.9. klo 13-14.30, L101A, sekä tietysti Sirpan, Virpin ja Sakarin. Ja jos arvio on jo tehtynä, kannattaa varmaan siltikin tulla mukaan.
