Hei kaikki, Dear all, alla ohjeita ja muistutusta tilojen ylläpidosta ja roskien lajittelusta, a general reminder and some instructions about the maintenance of our facilities and waste sorting. BCO-KIEPPITILOJEN YLEINEN YLLÄPITO, JÄTTEIDEN LAJITTELU JA KIERRÄTYS KAHVIHUONEET Kahvihuoneissa on erilliset roska-astiat: 1) biojäte, 2) sekajäte 3) metalli, 4) lasi (ei laboratoriolasi), ja uutena 5) kartonkikeräys. Lajitelkaa roskanne näihin. Ruoka- ja juomajätteitä tulisi metalli-, lasi- ja kartonkijätteissä olla minimimäärä, jotta hajuhaittoja ei tule ja astiat pysyvät siisteinä. Tällä hetkellä muovijätteelle ei ole lajitteluastiaa. JÄÄKAAPIT JA RUOKAKAAPIT Jääkaapeissa ja ruokakaapeissa olevien pakkausten tulee olla merkitty henkilön nimellä. Omat vanhat ruoka-ainekset tulee jokaisen hävittää ensi tilassa, jotta ne eivät pilaa muita tuotteita. TOIMISTOT Huomioithan, että toimistoja ei siivota joka päivä. Siivouspäivät on merkitty ovenpieleen. Toimistoissa on paperikierrätyslaatikko ja yleisroskakori. Toimiston roskakoreihin ei saa laittaa ruokajätteitä, tai niiden pakkauksia, vaan ne on vietävä kahvihuoneen roskakoreihin. LABORATORIOT Laboratorioissa on noudatettava erityistä siisteyttä ja järjestystä turvallisuussyistä. Laboratorioroskat kuuluvat laboratorioihin. Etenkin terävien esineiden (neulat, veitset, ym) suhteen on oltava huolellisia, ja niiden jättäminen työpöydille suojaamatta on kielletty. Terävien esineiden hävitykseen on laboratoriossa omat keräysastiat, eikä niitä saa laittaa tavallisen roskan sekaan. Laboratoriolasia ei saa laittaa keittiön kierrätyslasiastiaan, vaan se laitetaan lasiroskakoriin, joista se viedään ulos sekajätteisiin. WC:t WC-roskakoreihin ei tule viedä roskia muualta. PAHVILAATIKOT Tyhjät pahvilaatikot on litistettävä ja vietävä pahvinkeräystelineeseen. Ne eivät kuulu laboratorio- tai toimistoroskakoreihin. Kiitos kaikille! Noudatamme yliopiston ohjeistusta tilojen käyttöön ja lajitteluun liittyen. BCO-KIEPPI GENERAL MAINTENANCE AND SORTING AND RECYCLING OF WASTE COFFEE ROOMS Coffee rooms have bins for 1) organic waste, 2) mixed waste, 3) metal, 4) glass (not for laboratory glass) and the new 5) packaging board waste bin. Please, sort your waste into these and keep the food or drink leftovers in the metal, glass and packaging board waste in minimum to prevent bad smells and to keep the bins clean. Currently there is no recycling for plastic. REFRIGERATORS AND FOOD CUPBOARDS Food items stored in fridges and food cupboards have to be labelled with names. Own old items have to be thrown away asap, so that they do not contaminate other items. OFFICES Note that the offices are not cleaned daily. The cleaning days are marked by the door. The offices have paper recycling box and a general office waste basket. Do not put food waste, or their packages, into them, but bring them into kitchen for disposal. LABORATORIES In laboratories special cleanliness and order has to be taken due to laboratory safety reasons. Laboratory waste has to be put to waste baskets in laboratories, do not take it elsewhere. Especially with sharp items (needles, knives etc) you have to be careful and leaving them unprotected to the tables is forbidden. Sharp items have to be disposed by collecting them into their specific collection boxes in the laboratories. Laboratory glass is not recyclable and it should not be taken to coffee rooms, but collected separately in laboratories in glass waste. TOILETS It is not allowed to take garbage from other rooms to toilet waste baskets. CARDBOARD BOXES Empty cardboard boxes have to be flattened out and taken to the specific rack. They do not belong to waste baskets in laboratories or offices. Thank you all! We follow the University general rules for maintenance and recycling. Hi all, Due to some software issues, I need to reset settings on the NAS. I will do this after 18pm today. Hopefully I can restore connection also later today. Maskisuositus yliopiston tiloissa kevenee Oulun yliopisto keventää suu-nenäsuojaimen käyttösuositusta ja kasvomaskin käyttö ei ole enää välttämätöntä yliopiston tiloissa. Yliopiston suositus perustuu Pohjois-Pohjanmaan alueellisen koordinaatioryhmän ja Oulun kaupungin päätöksiin. Ohjeiden lievennyksen taustalla on Pohjois-Pohjanmaan paluu koronaepidemian perustasolle alueellisen koordinaatioryhmän 21.9.2021 tekemällä päätöksellä. Jokaisen vastuullinen toiminta myös vapaa-ajalla edistää yliopiston arjen sujumista mahdollisimman turvallisesti ja häiriöttömästi. When everyone acts responsibly, the everyday life on campuses is safe and the work and studies can continue without interruptions. DO THE MFA INTRODUCTION ACTIONS BY WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 15 (In English below) Hei! Monivaiheisen MFA-tunnistuksen käyttöönotto on meneillään yksikössäsi. Jos olet ottanut MFA:n käyttöösi, on yliopiston Microsoft- eli O365-tilisi jo suojattu ja olet tehnyt oman osuutesi yliopiston tietoturvan parantamiseksi. Hienoa! Voit siinä tapauksessa jättää tämän viestin huomiotta. Jos et ole vielä ottanut MFA-tunnistusta käyttöösi, muistathan tehdä tarvittavat käyttöönottotoimenpiteet viimeistään keskiviikkona 15.9. Käyttöönoton vaiheet: 1. Ota todennuksessa käyttämäsi puhelin ulottuvillesi ja kirjaudu tietokoneella O365-tilisi turvatietoon (linkki: https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info, kirjaudu O365-tunnuksellasi). Tallenna turvatietoon ensisijainen todennustapasi ja myös varamenetelmä poikkeustilannetta varten. Tässä vaiheessa saat myös testitodennuksen puhelimeesi. 2. Jos et ota MFA:ta omatoimisesti käyttöön, asetetaan se sinulle käyttöön torstaina 16.9. Silloin MFA kytketään sinun tunnukseesi automaattisesti (ohjeessa vaihe 2). Sen jälkeen et enää pääse ilman todennusta kirjautumaan mihinkään O365-palveluun yliopiston tai Oamkin verkon ulkopuolella. Käytännössä et pääse tietokoneella, tabletilla tai älypuhelimella sähköpostiisi, kalenteriin, Patioon, Teamsiin tai muihinkaan O365-palveluihin ennen kuin käyt asettamassa todennusmenetelmän O365-tilisi turvatietoon. Tee se viipymättä (ohjeessa vaihe 1). Kun MFA on käytössäsi, varmistat verkon ulkopuolella tehdyt tunnuksesi kirjautumiset puhelimella. Näin toimien mahdollinen ulkopuolinen taho ei pääse kirjautumaan käyttäjätililläsi, vaikka hän olisikin saanut tietoonsa tunnuksen ja salasanan. Vähitellen käyttämiisi laitteisiin syntyy luottamussuhteita, jolloin todentamiskerrat vähenevät. Voit myös itse asettaa laitekohtaisen 60 vrk:n tauon, jonka aikana varmennusta kysytään vain, jos käytät toista laitetta tai olet vaihtanut salasanasi. Kampuksen verkossa ja VPN-yhteydessä varmennusta ei kysytä. MFA-tukiryhmä ICT-palvelun MFA-tukiryhmä auttaa sinua käyttöönoton aikana ja sitä seuraavana päivänä. The introduction of the multi-factored MFA authentication is in progress in your unit. If you already have brought into use MFA on your O365 account of the university, your user account has already been protected and you have done your part to improve the information security of the university. Great! In that case, you can ignore this message. If you have not brought MFA into your use yet, please do the required actions by Wednesday, September 15. The phases of the introduction: 1. Take near you that phone which you will use as a verifying tool and use a web browser of the computer to sign-in to your O365 accounts security info (the link: https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info, sign-in with your O365 username). Save your primary verification method in the security info and select also the secondary method for an exceptional situation. In this phase, you receive a test verification to your phone. 2. Connect your university account with MFA through the MFA activation form (the link: http://u.oulu.fi/mfa, sign-in with your UNIV account). 3. You can now continue your work normally. MFA will be active during the next two hours, after that verification requests come to your phone when you are signing-in with your O365 account by computer, tablet or phone outside the network. · More detailed instructions of the introduction and use of MFA are found in Patio: MFA, multi-factor authentication<https://patio.oulu.fi/en/services-and-instructions/it-services/user-account…>. If you won’t bring MFA into use yourself, it will be set into your use on Thursday, September 16. Then your account will be connected to MFA (phase 2 in the guidelines) automatically. After that, you are not able to log in to your email, your calendar, Patio, Teams or any O365 service without the verification outside the network of the university or Oamk before you have set your authentication method. Do it at once (phase 1 in the guidelines). When MFA is in your use, you will secure the sign-ins of your account made outside the network by the telephone. By operating this way, the possible external quarter is not able to be signed-in on your user account even if he had got a user name and a password to his information. Trust relationships are created to the devices used by you gradually in which case verifying times will decrease. You can also set the device-specific break of 60 days, during that time the verification will be only asked for if you operate another device or have changed your password. In campus network and in VPN connection no verification is asked. MFA support team There is MFA support team in ICT Services to help you during the introduction and the next day. If any problems in the introduction turn up in September 16 or 17, please call primarily number 0294 483 150. Dear BCO-Kieppi people, Please, remind new employees: We will again organize so-called "safety walks" for BCO-Kieppi people who have not yet participated in them. We will walk through our premises and locate the emergency exits, fire alarms, fire extinguishers etc, check the meeting point for emergencies, and talk about safety. Participation to this about 30 min walk is obligatory for everybody. This is organized for your own safety. The next tours: in Finnish September 14, in English September 15, starting both at 14.00. Starting point for the tours is top of the main staircase 4th floor, Aapistie 5A. See you there!
