DWA - Välinehuolto: Joulukuun toiminta

Hei kaikki vuosi 2022 alkaa kääntyä lopuilleen, niinpä muistutan kampuksen välinehuollon joulukuun aikatauluista [cid:image001.png@01D9057D.08C79A10]Viikolla 49 välinehuolto on suljettuna 5. -6.12. välinehuolto toimii normaalisti 7. -9.12. Viikolla 50 välinehuolto toimii normaalisti 12. -16.12. poikkeuksena solukaappien osien pesut ja steriloinnit. Viimeinen mahdollinen pesupäivä on to 15.12. Solukaappien pesuista on sovittava välinehuoltajien kanssa erikseen. Viikoilla 51 - 52 solukaappien osia ei pestä. Viikolla 51 välinehuolto toimii normaalisti 19.-22.12. välinehuolto on suljettuna pe 23.12. Viikolla 52 Välinehuollot toimivat normaalisti välipäivinä 27.-30.12.2022 koko välinehuollon tiimin puolesta - virpi Dear All Year 2022 is coming to an end, so I’ll remind you of the DWA unit schedules during December. Week 49: On Mon -Tue 5.- 6.12. the DWA unit is closed the DWA service is normal 7.-9.12 Week 50: the DWA service is normal 12.-16.12. except the washing and sterilization of the parts of cell culture incubators. Last possible day for the washing of those parts is Thu 15.12. You have to book the washing and sterilization in advance [cid:image002.png@01D9057D.08C79A10] with the personnel. On weeks 51 and 52 the incubator parts are not washed. Week 51: the DWA service is normal on Mon – Thu 19.- 22.12. On Fri 23rd the DWA unit is closed. COLD ROOM problems 4th floor kieppi

Hi all, The cold rooms in the 4th floor are not working at the moment due to the cooling machine breaking. Don't open the doors unnecessarily. ISS is fixing the issue. The rest of the floors are OK. And the -20 room is working. Antti

DWA -välinehuolto: It is important to rinse the dishes

Dear All This week, the issue of dish rinsing has arisen! Dishes from multiple labs have been brought into the DWA-Kieppi Unit without being rinsed. Rinsing is the crucial preparatory step before labware items are transported to the DWA unit. The DWA personnel cannot determine whether the sticky or hazy material on the beakers is hazardous simply by looking at them. The DWA unit is only allowed to handle non-hazardous labware. Hi all, Due to the backup freezer needing the power outlet the other devices in the lobby are not plugged in at the moment. I will try to figure out a temporary place for them in the meantime. Sorry for any inconvenience but the freezer takes priority. BRs, Antti
