DWA - Välinehuolto: Joulukuun toiminta

Hei kaikki vuosi 2022 alkaa kääntyä lopuilleen, niinpä muistutan kampuksen välinehuollon joulukuun aikatauluista [cid:image001.png@01D9057D.08C79A10]Viikolla 49 välinehuolto on suljettuna 5. -6.12. välinehuolto toimii normaalisti 7. -9.12. Viikolla 50 välinehuolto toimii normaalisti 12. -16.12. poikkeuksena solukaappien osien pesut ja steriloinnit. Viimeinen mahdollinen pesupäivä on to 15.12. Solukaappien pesuista on sovittava välinehuoltajien kanssa erikseen. Viikoilla 51 - 52 solukaappien osia ei pestä. Viikolla 51 välinehuolto toimii normaalisti 19.-22.12. välinehuolto on suljettuna pe 23.12. Viikolla 52 Välinehuollot toimivat normaalisti välipäivinä 27.-30.12.2022 koko välinehuollon tiimin puolesta - virpi Dear All Year 2022 is coming to an end, so I’ll remind you of the DWA unit schedules during December. On weeks 51 and 52 the incubator parts are not washed. Week 51: the DWA service is normal on Mon – Thu 19.- 22.12. On Fri 23rd the DWA unit is closed. Safety walks for new people in BCO-Kieppi

Dear BCO-Kieppi people, We will again organize so-called "safety walks" for BCO-Kieppi people who have not yet participated in them. Please, inform your new group members. We will walk through our premises and locate the emergency exits, fire alarms, fire extinguishers etc, check the meeting point for emergencies, and talk about safety. Participation to this about 30 min walk is obligatory for everybody. This is organized for your own safety. The next possibilities to participate: January 30, starting at 14.00 in Finnish, and in English starting at 15.00. March 26, starting at 14.00 in Finnish, and in English starting at 15.00. Additional walks will be arranged later in spring when needed. Starting point for the tours is top of the Aapistie 5A main staircase, 4th floor. See you there! Call for Mini posters: BCO DAY 2025

Dear All, We are excited to announce that the 34th Biocenter Oulu Day 2025, titled "Mode the Code – Innovations in Gene Therapy," will take place on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 16:00 PM in the main building of the Kontinkangas campus, Auditorium Leena Palotie (101A). As part of tradition, a Biocenter Day bulletin will be published, providing research groups the opportunity to showcase their latest work as "mini posters." The call for mini posters is now open. Please note that your mini-poster topic does not need to align with the theme of the day. The aim is to present the current research being conducted at Biocenter Oulu. Research groups outside Biocenter Oulu are also welcome to submit their mini posters for inclusion in the bulletin. For details, please refer to the attached mini-poster template. The deadline for mini-poster submissions is March 15, 2025. Hei, Neukkarin 487B huoneesta on kadonnut langaton hiiri ja asia huomattiin tänä aamuna. Torstaina huonetta käyttäneet henkilöt on tiukasti kuulusteltu mutta he vannovat viattomuuttaan. Hei! Tulee aika viime tingassa mutta tämmöinen kierros on tänään. En ollut huomannut ilmoitusta tästä. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hei kaikille Beckman Coulterin sentrifugien käyttäjille, Järjestämme tänä vuonna 2025 roottorintarkastuskierroksen (FRIP) viikolla 9 Oulussa ja tiistaina 25.2.25 olemme Kontinkankaan kampuksella tarkistamassa kampuksen alueella sijaitsevia roottoreita. Kierroksen aikana tarkastamme siis veloituksetta käytössänne olevat Beckman Coulter sentrifugien roottorit. Tarkastuksen suorittaa Berner Oy:n Beckman Coulterin kouluttamat huoltohenkilöt. Ystävällisesti pyydän olemaan yhteydessä minuun, jotta voimme sopia kellonajan, jolloin tulemme sentrifugin luokse tekemään roottorien tarkastuksen. Pahoitteluni, jos tämä viesti tavoittaa henkilöitä joille ko. asia ei ole ajankohtainen. Yhteystietomme sentrifugien yhteyshenkilöiden osalta on hieman puutteellinen. Please find the updated DWA instructions attached (the last attachment all in English and Finnish: DWA KÄYTÄNNÖT 2025). It's advisable for everyone using DWA services to familiarize themselves with practices and follow them accordingly. If there is any uncertainty about adhering to instructions within your unit, it would be beneficial to review the guidelines at the group/unit level whenever possible. Ohessa päivitetyt välinehuollon ohjeet. Jokaisen välinehuollon palveluja käyttävän on tarkoituksenmukaista perehtyä näihin päivitettyihin ohjeisiin ja myös toimivan ohjeiden mukaisesti. Jos yksikössänne on epävarmuutta välinehuollon ohjeiden noudattamisesta, mahdollisuuksien mukaan olisi hyvä ottaa ohjeistus esille myös ryhmä-/yksikkötasolla.
