Dear All, The installation of the new printer is scheduled for tomorrow morning starting at 8.00 hrs and during the installation it is not possible to print to the old Xerox printer. The new printer should be in working order by 12.00 hrs. Hei, Uuden printterin asennus aloitetaan huomenaamulla klo 8.00 ja sen pitäisi olla käyttökunnossa klo 12.00 jälkeen. High school students in BCO-Kieppi and CoE

Dear all, For the next two weeks (2.6.-13.6.) we (BCO + CoE) will have 7 high school students working on our premises in Kieppi and in lbiok. Sirpa Salo and I are their supervisors, please, do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or comments. The students, mostly from Laanilan lukio, are working on our project where the goal is to produce information material (probably videos, slide presentations) about our activities, mainly directed for high school children. The students may want to talk with you or film or take photos. We hope that you will keep a positive attitude! All the material will be hold by us. This is one of our outreach activities and let´s see how this goes! To fund this we utilize the funding from the City of Oulu (Kesäseteli for 15-17 years old). Seminar room 338B is no longer a BCO seminar room

Dear BCO-Kieppi people, Note that the 3rd floor seminar room 338B is no longer a BCO seminar room. It is a lecture room of the Medical Faculty, and the room has to be reserved from the Timmi system or virastomestarit/janitors. It costs 38,40 €/h. BCO groups and cores have still the 4th floor seminar room 487B in their use for free. The reservations for 487B should be made in the calendar in Teija´s office 472B, or to Teija by email or phone 6103. Hei, alkavan Sodexon remontin vuoksi paikka muuttuu kolmannen kerroksen seminaariluokaksi 338B:ksi. terv. Juha K. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Arvoisat vastaanottajat, Yliopisto on siirtymässä keskitettyihin tulostuspalveluihin tämän kevään kuluessa. Laitetoimittaja Canonin edustaja pitää lääketieteellisessä tiedekunnassa tulostuspalvelun tuotantoon ja laitteiden käytettävyyteen liittyvän informaatiotilaisuuden, ennen kuin laitetoimitukset laajamittaisesti alkavat viikolla 23.
