Hi all, Please remove your old files from the histology lab computer as soon as possible. The hard drive is full again and the microscope cannot be used properly anymore. Hei, Virkistymispäivän lopullinen ohjelma on seuraavanlainen: klo. 09.00 - 10.30 Jousiammunta (ilmoittautuneille, Hietasaaren jousiammuntakenttä, Johteenkuja) klo. 11.00 - 12.30 Melonta (ilmoittautuneille, Nokkalan veneilykeskus, Hintantie) klo. 12.00 Veljeskoti (Mustasaarentie 9, pelailua yms.) klo. 13.00 ruokailu (American Way Buffet, Fat Rooster) klo. 14.00 -> Pelailua, saunomista yms. Paikka on varattu puoleenyöhön asti. Keräämme lisäaktiviteetteihin osallistujilta maksut etukäteen. Jousiammunta on 10 € ja melonta 20 €. Rahat voi maksaa joko Jarkko Koivuselle (LBIOK, 2. kerros, L202A) tai Katja Riipiselle (kieppi, 3. kerros 308A) maanantaihin 20.5. mennessä. Vaatetuksen on hyvä olla sään mukainen! Melontaan osallistuville K&C ry suosittelee seuraavaa: ”Varusteet: Seura tarjoaa varusteet (kajakki/kanootti, aukkopeite, kelluntaliivit, mela). Varavaatteet eivät ole pahitteeksi, lompakko ja kännykkä kannattaa jättää kotiin tai autoon. Avaimet ja silmälasit on hyvä laittaa niin etteivät pääse karkaamaan mahdollisesti kaaduttaessa. Hei BCO-Kieppiläiset, Odotettu käytännönharjoitus tulipalon sammuttamiseen on nyt toteutumassa! Maanantaina 13.5. järjestetään lähistöllä ulkona (tarkka paikka ei vielä selvä) sammutusharjoitus, jossa opetellaan käyttämään sammuttimia ym. Kannattaa osallistua, sen verran harvoin näitä on! Reminder Very Important safety training for English speaking staff May 13 at 9.00-11.00

REMINDER Dear English speaking researchers, students etc in the BCO-Kieppi, University of Oulu has organized now a specific safety training for non-Finnish speaking people working in the Aapistie Medical Campus. We had a similar in Finnish a couple of weeks ago, and we asked this to be held also in English. I strongly encourage everybody to participate in it. It gives you a summary about what to do in case of a fire and in other emergencies, and about other safety regulations you should keep in mind when working in the Aapistie. Also other are welcome! The training lecture will be held on Monday May 13 at 9.00-10.00 in Anatomy A101 lecture hall. After the lecture there is a practical training in English 10.15-11.00 outside how to extinguish a fire with fire extinguisher or by other means.(There will be practical training for Finnish speaking too, another message about it).
