Hei Kaikki! Biocenter Oulun Kieppi-laboratorioiden johtoryhmän 2. kokous pidettiin 25.9.2008 Seppo Vainion johdolla ja minun avustaessa sihteerinä. Lähetän ohessa kokouksen pöytäkirjan ja päivitetyn kemikaaliluettelon. Seuraavaksi alan kirjoittaa vastuuhenkilöluetteloa eri tilojen, laitteiden ja tehtävien vastuuhenkilöistä. Olen saanut jo joitakin vapaaehtoisia vastuuhenkilöitä eri tehtäviin ja tiloihin ja loppuja täytyy haeskella henkilökohtaisesti. Älkää juosko karkuun. Kieppi seminar on Wednesday, 22nd of October

Hello Everybody! We will have a Kieppi research seminar on Wednesday, the 22nd of October 2008 at 12 o'clock in the seminar room 116B, the 1st floor of the Main Building of the Medical Campus, Aapistie 5A. Risto Kerkelä from the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology will speak about 'Cardiotoxicity of tyrosine kinase inhibitor cancer therapeutics'. Risto has just returned from USA where he had a very succesful post doctoral research period at the Tufts-New England Medical Center, Boston and at the Center for Translational Medicine, Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia. You are cordially welcome to hear the latest news in the mechanisms of cardiac function. The seminar room is rather small and 20 first participants will get a seat. See you there! Dear Scientists of the Kieppi research bulding and the speakers, It is my pleasure to send you the final confirmed program of our KIEPPI seminar series. We will start our semianr this week, thursday 2.10. at 12-13 in Hall 134B. Tiina Jokela from the BCO Developmental Biology team will tell us about her work. Tiina uses the methods of conditional mutagenesis to address gene functions during any time of the life cycle and in any given process in model organisms.
