Dear Kieppi-people, There are some safety neglects in laboratories I have been notified of (with photos). Scalpels (without any protective cover) placed in beakers sharp end up and lying on tables. Needles without and with covers lying on tables. There is no excuse for this. Better laboratory practices are required from everybody, from post docs to trainees and visitors. Do not leave sharp items around. This is to protect those who use these items, others working in the same laboratory, and the cleaning personnel. Please, have a look around and see whether there are things to be improved, and fix them. Thank you!
