Dear all,
Note this important training in September in English in Kontinkangas especially for those PhD-students, researchers and technicians who work with chemicals but are not so familiar with evaluation of chemical
risks. You should participate in this! This is part of our laboratory safety.
There will be other sessions for Finnish speaking, so keep this training open for those who do not understand Finnish. Registration necessary, See personnel training portal.
Chemical risk training, Kontinkangas (in English)
Time: On 28th September 2016 9.00-12.00 am. (3h)
Contents and realisation:
The participant in the education will understand the carrying out of the evaluation of chemical risks and can in his or her work utilise the principles and information which are given in the operational safety bulletin and other central chemical information
sources.
Furthermore, the participant will study the chemical law (the new package markings of chemicals and the extended operational safety bulletin) and know how to control chemical risks in laboratory work. The education includes expert lectures and teamwork.
