Like almost everything in 2020, Oulun biotieteellinen seura postponed the events we had planned for the year. Hopefully, we will meet you all in the events next year, for there is hope that the situation normalizes by
the end of 2021.

Oulun biotieteellisen seuran joulukahveja ei tänä vuonna järjestetä vallitsevan tilanteen vuoksi. Joulukorit (3 kpl) arvotaan kuitenkin normaaliin tapaan. Jos olet jo jäsen, voit osallistua arvontaan
täällä 14.12. asti, jolloin arvonta suoritetaan.
Jos et ole vielä jäsen, liittyä voit

Societas biochemica, biophysica et microbiologica Fenniae eli
Biobio-seura on valtakunnallinen tieteellinen yhdistys, jonka tavoitteena on edistää biotieteellistä tutkimusta ja toimintaa Suomessa. Seura kuuluu alansa kansainvälisiin kattojärjestöihin, joiden tapahtumiin ja apurahahakuihin seuran jäsenet voivat
osallistua. Kattojärjestöistä ja niiden jakamista apurahamahdollisuuksista löytyy lisätietoa Biobio-seuran nettisivuilta

Biobio-seuralla on neljä alajaosta, joista yksi on Oulun biotieteellinen seura. Oulun biotieteellisen seuran jäsenenä olet siis myös Biobio-seuran jäsen, ja myös kansainvälisten kattojärjestöjen jäsen.
Seuran jäsenenä olet osa aktiivista oululaisten biotieteilijöiden yhteisöä ja pääset luomaan tehokkaasti verkostoja muihin saman alan ihmisiin. Biobio-seuran jäsenmaksu on 28 e/vuosi.

Due to current circumstances, Oulun biotieteellinen seura will not arrange traditional Christmas coffees this year. However, Christmas baskets will be raffled per usual. If you are already a member of the society, you

Societas biochemica, biophysica et microbiologica Fenniae,
Biobio Society, is a Finnish national scientific society which promotes bioscientific research and activities in Finland. The society belongs to several international umbrella organizations from which members can apply grants and fellowships. More info

The society has four subdivisions, and the
Oulun biotieteellinen seura is the local division in Oulu. Members of the Oulun biotieteellinen seura are also members of the Biobio society and all the international organizations with multiple grant opportunities.
Members of the Oulun biotieteellinen seura are part of an active group of bioscientists from several disciplines. The membership fee is 28 euros a year.
