Who wants to destroy the Eppendorf centrifuge in 4th floor 439A?
This morning the inside walls of the centrifuge were covered with plastic? solidified material (see below). Also the plate holders were covered with it. It had taken 1 hour to clean
it before scheduled samples could be run with it.
And of course, there was no name in the reservation book. This is not acceptable! Everyone signs in!
And everybody cleans in case leakage happens. And informs if there are other problems
(dropping of holders, strange noise, smell etc.)
The centrifuge is used by DNA sequencing core and also other users for delicate samples.
In case anything similar happens it will be assigned for Core facility use only.
