The air quality in BCO today is at alarmingly hazardous levels:
We measure the air quality in our company every day, and the basal levels for TVOC and formaldehyde are 0.2 and 0.05 mg/m3 respectively (Sisäilmayhdistys ry). Today the levels are 20 times higher than the acceptable ones. The measurement
(shown above) was done on the 4th floor, and the situation gets worse with lower floor count.
I am not sure if the university has sent out a memo regarding this, but this is extremely dangerous for most living beings. We have put evacuation order for our staff. The environment here is toxic (literally). Please inform the relevant
authorities to do an air inspection.
