Just as a reminder if you are looking for more secure place for your data.

The price for a backup-protected data storage provided by the IT-services is 150 euros/per year (0.15 euros per 1GB) for 1TB which I think is reasonable.

Please note that any data that is on your C-drive, desktop, external USB-drive or a NAS-drive is not as secure as a proper tape-backup system.
