Dear All,
There will be a presentation and also demonstration of NANOSIGHT-apparatus here in Kieppi, 2nd floor, Microbiology library on Thursday 4th of April at 10 am.
The Nanosight-technique is for nanoparticle analysis in biological samples. See attached specific information. Applications are:
- Exosome and microvesicle characterization
- Liposomes
- Nanoparticle aggregates
- Viruses
- Drug delivery and drug discovery
- Vaccines
- Carbon nanotube analysis
- Metallic nanoparticles
There will be a possibility to discuss of all applications with a Nanosight-specialist and to discuss the need for this technique in general.

I would greatly appreciate if you could notify me in advance if you will attend (mostly to assure that there will be sufficient space for everyone) but you are welcome to pop in ex tempore as well!
