The Stratagene qPCR machine in Kieppi 4th floor has been out of use due to pollution of the fluorescence in some of the wells. The machine has now been cleaned and the fluorescence is OK.

However, the machine also makes a loud noise and this problem is not yet solved. Maintenance has been ordered, but we do not know the date for this at the moment.

The machine can be used (at your own risk). The fluorescence seems to be OK, but we do not know what causes the noise.
