Hi,
This is to inform the users who are planning to run qPCR on Monday and after. There are problems for our Stratagene /BCO qPCR machine. It looks normal this Saturday morning (7.9), but another run of my samples in Saturday afternoon took 6 hours instead of 3 hours under normal condition. I found one reason is that each denaturation step at 95oC will take roughly 3-4 minutes (normal 15 seconds).
I tried to restart computer and machine, but it didn’t help at all.
I hope who can take response to fix it. I’m willing to assist you for checking the problems.
