The course is limited to about 12 participants selected by application. Priority is given to doctoral students.
Online registration/application, deadline April 17. All applicants will be notified on April 18. |
This 2-day practical course includes short lectures on each step of the immunohistochemistry (IHC) protocol. Additionally, you
get hands-on experience about the micropolymer detection method with human tissue samples. Micropolymer detection enables superior sensitivity and reduced background staining compared to the traditional avidin-biotin-based detection. In the course, we will
this time perform simultaneous chromogenic multiplex staining on a paraffin section. Is it as easy as doing a single stain? Come and see!
The course participants will do single stainings using their own mouse tissue sections (3-4 slides) and their own primary antibody
which has been tested for immunohistochemistry. The human tissue samples, secondary antibodies and reagents for double stainings will be provided by the organizers.
