Microsoft has released set of patches for the Intel Centrino which correct serious security flaws concerning WLAN. So if you are a laptop user and your laptop is Intel Centrino-based, this patch should be installed. If your laptop is not a Centrino, you should not worry.

P.S. On an unrelated note... If you have problems with disappearing pictures in Word (when scrolling the page etc.), the problem most likely is in buggy graphic card drivers. An update of the drivers to a newer version should correct the problem.
