Biocenter on hankkinut nestetuikelaskurin (PerkinElmerin Microbeta) ja monileimalukijan (PerkinElmerin Victor3V). Nestetuikelaskurilla voi laskea radioaktiivisia- ja luminesoivia näytteitä kuoppalevyillä, eppareissa ja 4 mL:n putkissa. Victorilla taas pystyy käyttämään seuraavia tekniikoita kuoppalevyformaatissa: luminesenssi (injektorilla - dual luciferase), fluoresenssipolarisaatio, aikaerotteinen fluoresenssi, fluoresenssi sekä UV-ja näkyvän aallonpituusalueen fotometria.

Laitteet asennetaan toimintakuntoon ensi viikon alussa ja niistä on käyttökoulutus keskiviikkona 2.11 klo 13 alkaen jatkuen torstai-iltapäivään saakka. Keskiviikon ja torstain aikana voitte käydä tutustumassa laitteisiin. Omat näytteet mukaan, jos vain sellaisia löytyy!! Laitteet sijaitsevat laboratiossa 312A.

Biocenter has bought scintillation counter (PerkinElmer Microbeta) and multi-label reader (PerkinElmer Victor 3 V). With scintillation counter you can use multiwell plates, 1,5 mL and 4 mL tubes. With Victor you can use following techniques in the multi-well plate format: fluorescence, time-resolved fluorescence, UV- and visible light photometry, luminescence (with a injector - dual luciferase) and fluorescence polarization.

These equipments are installed in the beginning of next week and the training of usage will start on Wednesday 2nd November at 1 pm and will continue until Thursday afternoon. During this time you can come to look at these new machines. If you have, please take your own samples with you! You can measure now your own samples with a help of specialists from PerkinElmer. Machines are in the laboratory 312A.
