Hi,

The hazardous waste storage was emptied today.

A couple of commment:

1. Injection needles are collected, but they are not brought to the hazardous waste room. You can take them directly to the "special waste container" (erikoisjäte) outside of this building.

2. A clean aluminium folium waste is collected and taken to the storage room. An example about the clean aluminium folio waste is the folio used for autoclaving after autoclave tapes are removed

3. You have to mark your unit on the packages: Biocenter, Clinical Research Center, Microbiology

4. There will be a new booklet in the storage room with more detailed instruction for recording the waste after midsummer.
