On taas aika kerätä loputkin kuluvan vuoden ja vuoden 2014 tiedonkeruusta poisjääneet julkaisutiedot. Katso ohjeet sivulta: https://notio.oulu.fi/fi/ajankohtaista/Sivut/Julkaisutiedot-.aspx
Ja näiden saaminen Sole Cris-tietokantaan on ehdottamaan tärkeää, koska rahoituksemme riippuu näistä. Jos julkaisusi ei ole siellä, niin sitä ei ole olemassakaan.

Hei,
alla tutkimusryhmille ennakkotietoa muuttuneista harjoittelutuista, tiedotan asiasta tarkemmin, kunhan olen käynyt Topikin koordinaattori-infossa.

Hei,
harjoittelutukien hakuajat alkavat ensi viikolla, tässä lyhyt ennakkotieto ensi vuoden harjoittelutuista (tarkemmat tiedekuntakohtaiset kiintiöt ilmoitetaan ensi viikolla):
Edustustoharjoittelun ja Euroopan ulkopuolisen harjoittelun apurahojen hakuaika alkaa 30.11.
· Lyhyttä Euroopan ulkopuolista tukea ei enää myönnetä vuonna 2016
Kotimaan harjoittelutukien hakuaika 1.12.2015-8.5.2016
· harjoittelutuki yliopiston ulkopuolisessa harjoittelussa: 1600 euroa/opiskelija
· harjoittelutuki yliopiston sisäisessä harjoittelussa: 1000 euroa/opiskelija
· yliopiston sisäiseen harjoitteluun on allokoitu 40 tukea
· kotimaan tukia on n. 21% vähemmän kuin tänä vuonna, ja odotettavissa onkin, ettei tukia tule riittämään kaikille.
Hyvää viikonloppua!

Hello,
today AXA Research Fund informed that unfortunately our Institution was not selected for the 2nd round of this year campaign to submit any candidates for AXA postdoctoral fellowships.
We are sorry for the additional work you have done for this - We had to inform about this possibility in advance because the deadline for submitting the names of the possible candidates to AXA was announced to be already by December 7, 2015.
Best regards,

Hyvä biologian väki,
Biologian yksiköt joutuvat budjetin tasapainottamiseksi tekemään tilojen uudelleenkäyttösuunnitelmia. Nämä suunnitelmat eivät vaikuta tilanteeseen vuonna 2016 vaan niitä alettaisiin toteuttaa vasta vuonna 2017. Meillä on siis hyvää aikaa laatia suunnitelmat omalta kannaltamme mahdollisimman hyviksi.

Subject: [Bioposti] Kaamos-seminar 7. -8. 12. 2015
Hello all,
We are having a miniature Kaamos-symposium on Monday the 7th of December and Tuesday the 8th!
On Monday, we'll have a special session presenting the research projects that have been recently funded by the Academy of Finland. There will be six presentations from Laura Härkönen, Veli-Matti Pakanen, Tanja Pyhäjärvi, Marko Mutanen, Phil Watts and Kari Taulavuori. The session will be held in YB210 from 12.00 - 14.00, after which we'll serve coffee and buns.
On Tuesday the 8th of December, we'll have three more sessions with two key-note speakers: Jane Jepsen from Norwegian Institute for Nature Research in Troms, Norway, and Sari Stark from the Arctic Center in the University of Lapland. We'll also present thirteen more talks from different fields of Biology and Biogeography. To kick the barriers between different research groups, the presentations are in a fully random-order. The session will be also in YB210 from 9.00 - 15.15 with two breaks in between.
We hope many of you could share your posters during the event. During both of the days, we'll bring several posters stands to the hallway in front of YB210. To present your recent research, we hope, you'd hang posters on those!
Between the talk sessions and the evening event we'll have a discussion focused on 'Science in the commercial world - how to apply your education in entrepreneurship?' with invited people from private sector and the Research Administration Services of the University. Other subject ideas are also welcome, so if you had a subject you would like to be discussed, let us know.
Further, on Tuesday, we'll have wine and coffee at the coffee room of the new biology premises. We wish all of you from the old department welcome to participate! We'll bring some snacks, cakes and wine, but you're invited to bring some treats to the table as well! This small Christmas party starts at 16.15.
We hope that many of you would participate in many of the events!!
The timetable of the symposium is attached to this e-mail and can also be found in the wiki-pages. We'll also download short abstracts from the presentations to these pages before the event.
