There is a misunderstanding: I do not insist to use any of the 8 machined conditions chambers (olosuhdehuone). But I was prepared to move my systems to one of the this far un-used sink chamber rooms as Marko correctly writes. That room is reserved by Anna Maria 1.2.2020 - 30.6.2020, but it has been un-used for whole winter. So I wanted to know whether it will be used at all? Or is it possible to Anna-Mari to co-use any other of the sink chambers (allashuone) this spring?
I have going on long-term experiments by several Light-Dark chambers filled with hundreds of vials and thousands of flies.

Hello biologists of our unit,
In the downstairs, we have 8 machined condition chambers (olosuhdehuone), 2 machined climate chambers (kliimahuone) and 3 machined “sink” chambers (allahuone). In addition, there are two non-machined condition rooms and two non-machined climate chambers that have largely been used by Pekka Lankinen. Pekka Lankinen one Ari Riihimaa have been using three of the machined condition chambers. So far it has been fine as our own researchers have been able to carry out their experiments in the other chambers.
Sami K. and Tanja P. are now starting large-scale experiments and there will be much need for all available chambers, especially condition rooms. For this reason Jouni asked me to figure out the needs by our researchers particularly in near future and later this year, but also during the next years.
I have booked one of the climate chambers from 1st April onwards. The second climate chamber will likely be needed by one of you.
It seems that there has been quite little use for the “sink chambers” (= rooms 103.1, 103.2 and 103.3). Olli has apparently booked one of these rooms for this year. Anna-Maria has booked another chamber but there hasn’t been any activity lately (?). Will there be, Anna-Maria? Sami may need the third room?
The needs have to be figured out shortly because Pekka Lankinen plans to move his own-built systems to one of the sink chambers that then would be in use for his for at least two years. Also, he insists continuing using one of the condition chambers.
I know that several other researcher of our unit may have needs for these rooms. It would be especially important now to get an idea about these needs, particularly for this year. Please inform me about your plans.
