Koronavirus COVID-19: Tarkennetut ohjeet - in English below
Oulun yliopisto on tarkentanut ohjeita liittyen koronavirus COVID-19 tilanteeseen:
Yliopiston kaikessa toiminnassa lisätään henkilöiden välistä etäisyyttä. Luentojen verkkolähetyksiä ja etäopiskelumahdollisuuksia lisätään. Mikäli opiskelijalla on flunssaoireita, hän ei saa tulla kampukselle eikä osallistua yleiseen luentotilaisuuteen, muuhun opetustilanteeseen tai tenttitilaisuuteen.
Isoja seminaareja tai tapahtumia ei järjestetä toukokuun loppuun saakka. Tarvittaessa tapahtuman järjestäjä tekee peruutuspäätöksen tapahtumakohtaisen riskiarvion perusteella huomioiden akuutti tartuntatilanne, tilaisuuden luonne, osallistujamäärä sekä järjestämispaikka. Etäyhteyksiä suositellaan käytettävän seminaarien ja tapahtumien järjestämisessä. Toukokuulle suunniteltu Oulun yliopiston promootio siirretään syksylle 2020.
Toistaiseksi emme ota vieraita vastaan ulkomailta. Jo sovituissa väitöstilaisuuksissa vastaväittäjän vierailu on mahdollinen.
Mikäli etätyö on mahdollista, sen tekemistä suositellaan. Kaikki sisäiset kokoukset suositellaan järjestettäväksi verkkokokouksina. Työntekijä, jolla on flunssan oireita, ei saa tulla kampuksille. Esihenkilöiden kanssa sovitaan tarvittavat etätyökäytännöt näihin tilanteisiin.
Kaikkea matkustamista tulee välttää. Välttämättömistä työmatkoista työntekijä tekee yhdessä esihenkilön kanssa matkustuspäätöksen riskiarvion perusteella.
Opiskelijavaihdossa ulkomailla olevat opiskelijat voivat halutessaan palata Suomeen. Oulun yliopisto korvaa välttämättömät matkakustannukset opiskelijalle.
Komennusmatkalla olevat työntekijät saavat halutessaan palata Suomeen. Paluupäätöksestä on ilmoitettava viimeistään 19.3.2020 heidi.huttunen@oulu.fimailto:heidi.huttunen@oulu.fi. Lähettävä yksikkö maksaa välttämättömät paluumatkakustannukset.
Epidemia-alueilta palattaessa tulee odottaa 14 vuorokautta ennen kampuksille tuloa.
Aluehallintovirasto on ilmoittanut kieltävänsä yli 500 hengen tilaisuudet. Kevään valintakokeet tullaan tämän hetkisen tiedon mukaan toteuttamaan eri tiloissa siten, että enimmäishenkilömäärä ei ylity. Valintakokeiden toteuttamista suunnitellaan yhteistyössä yliopistojen kesken.
Oulun yliopiston koronavalmiusryhmä kokoontuu joka päivä ja päivittää ohjeita tilanteen ja viranomaisohjeiden muuttuessa.

Coronavirus COVID-19: Detailed guidelines on 12.3.2020
University of Oulu has updated guidelines concerning the Coronavirus COVID-19:
In all university activities the physical distance between people is recommended. Online lectures and distance learning opportunities will be increased. If a student has flu symptoms, he/she must not come to the campus or attend a general lecture, other teaching situation or exam session.
University will not organize big seminars or events until the end of May. If necessary, the organizer of the event makes a cancellation decision based on an event-specific risk assessment, taking into account the acute infectious situation, the nature of the event, the number of participants and the venue. It is recommended to use remote connections for organizing seminars and events. The Conferment of the University of Oulu, scheduled for May, will be postponed until autumn 2020.
For the time being, we do not receive visitors from abroad. In a public defence of a doctoral thesis that has already been agreed, a visit by the speaker is possible.
If remote work is possible, it is recommended to do so. It is recommended that all internal meetings take the form of online meetings. An employee with flu symptoms is not allowed to come to campuses. The necessary remote working practices for these situations should be agreed with the superior.
Employees should avoid any travel. In case of essential duty travel, the employee, together with the superior, makes a decision to travel based on a risk assessment.
Students abroad in student exchange can return to Finland if they wish. The University of Oulu will reimburse the necessary travel costs to the student.
Employees on the secondment travel can also return to Finland if they wish. The return decision shall be notified by 19.3.2020 at the latest to heidi.huttunen@oulu.fimailto:heidi.huttunen@oulu.fi. The sending unit shall pay the necessary return travel costs.
When returning from epidemic areas, one should wait 14 days before entering campuses.
Regional State Administrative Agency has announced that it will ban events for more than 500 people. According to current information, the spring admission tests will be carried out in different premises so that the maximum number of persons is not exceeded. The implementation of the admission tests is planned in cooperation between the universities.
The standby team of corona at the University of Oulu holds a meeting every day and updates the instructions as the situation and regulations change.
